Wisconsin Partners for SustainAbility is a non-profit, tax-exempt network of individuals and organizations who share an interest in sustaining and improving the quality of life around us.

Our Mission

We recognize the interconnectedness and interdependence of society, our environment and the economy, and the need to live in balance with nature. As an organization, we are committed to applying the principles of sustainability to our work and our lives. As such, we, the Wisconsin Partners for SustainAbility, are committed to facilitating Wisconsin's leadership on the local, state and national levels.

Our Goals

The goals of Wisconsin Partners for SustainAbility are:

• To encourage and cultivate a positive, abundance outlook.
• To nurture a physical and social environment that supports and enhances individual health and well-being.
• To look continually at the potential social, economic, and environmental impact of today's actions and decisions on the future.
• To find new ways of delivering goods and services that have either a neutral or positive impact on the environment.
• To recognize the need for a work/personal life balance for people.
• To collaborate with others rather than compete with or duplicate their services.
• To act in ways that enhance the economic and environmental vitality of the communities which support our mission.

Our Values and Operating Principles

To create a social environment marked by mutual support, kindness, teamwork and open and direct communication, we employ practices which:

• To eliminate or reduce material waste by using only materials that are absolutely necessary, are produced in an environmentally friendly manner and can be disposed of by reusing or recycling.

• To seek ways to improve the performance and effectiveness of people and channel reclaimed human energy into positive directions.
